My poor little Oliver woke up Tuesday a little off. He slept in till almost 9am. Very unusual. He had 2 bites of his breakfast. Very very unusual. (He eats his breakfast and half of mine on a normal day.) He curled up in my lap and stayed there all morning. Very odd. This kid has so much energy (think Tasmanian devil... in a good way). Then he threw up and his low fever got higher. That was it, Daddy scheduled a doctor's appointment. BabyMan had strep and an ear infection. Poor kid. We have turned the corner. His energy is back and he's eating a little bit. Hopefully by tomorrow my little piggy will be back. I was kinda bummed the snuggles only lasted for a day.
Sick baby snuggles.
12 hours later, already on the mend
24 hours later, aside from a low fever and little appetite, you'd never know he was sick!
So, I'm off to clean some more. I am determined to keep these germs from spreading. I really don't want any of the other kids getting sick. Crossing my fingers!!
My husband makes video games. Every man little boys' dream, right? The most recent finished game released last week so tonight is the big Launch party. The babysitter has been called, our clothes are ironed... now lets hope the kids cooperate. We have 2 hours to shower and prepare. I really don't want to show up with dirty hair that reeks of baby spit-up! Eek!!
I get to wear my new shoes! I found a matching clutch at Forever21 for $9!!
It's that time of the week again... (my favorite time)! It's Friday's Nail Files link-up hosted by Tara & Vicki. I love seeing everyone's nails and adding polishes to my wish list.
First I'm showing Revlon's Perplex. I wore this Monday - Wednesday.
This is an interesting color. Grey to purple. Very pretty in the sunlight which I had great difficulty catching with my stellar photography skills. ;)
Wednesday night I did my nails with a Valentine feel :)
I used China Glaze Phat Santa & Revlon Silver Dollar.
We'll see how well these stand up to house cleaning, cooking & baking this weekend. I'm so excited. I'm making my mommy's lasagna recipe for dinner tomorrow. I think for dessert, I may might make red velvet cake. YUM!
First things first, baby-man learned to roll on Saturday afternoon!! I'm not sure whether to be happy or sad. My little boy is growing up too fast. He's my last baby. I need it to last!
Joshua's daddy got him the Millennium Falcon! He is so super excited! I am glad it stayed back in Ohio for him to play with. Eek! That's 1,254 legos I don't need on my floor!!
I was able to pick this up. I had it shipped to my in-laws! I've only used the lipgloss. Loved it! Going to play with it this weekend.
I managed to not take any pictures on Saturday night. AJ and I met up with friends for dinner at Claddagh Irish Pub. Then we went out separately. I went for cocktails and dancing with my friends and he met up with his friend. I'm waiting for copies of pictures but as for now, I have nothing to show. Oh well.
We had a nice visit with our friends and hubby's family. It went by really fast, but I'm glad to be home.
It's Friday!!! Time to linkup again with Tara and Vicki for The Nail Files.
I am preparing for a weekend away in Columbus. Time for some fun with my friends, so I went with a festive sparkle-y polish. It's one of my favorites!! It's from OPI's Katy Perry line, "The One That Got Away"
I just did this color last night. I'm gonna share what I wore on my nails for the first part of the week also. I bought them Sunday and had to wear them immediately!
These are both from Sephora. This is "Handpicked For Me" a shimmer-y lavender shade with an accent nail of "It's Bouquet With Me"
Hopefully I'll have some fun pics to share Monday. Have a great weekend!!
